S-E Wrestlers dominate at home vs Canastota

SHERBURNE – On Thursday evening, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves wrestling team finally had their first dual meet at home in a rescheduled match against Canastota. S-E dominated the mat, earning the 58-17 victory. S-E is currently 1-0 in the CSC West and 8-0 overall.

Drew Telesky, Justin Race, and Landon Andrade added forfeits onto their win column before the action began.

Jackson Moore had a hard match against William Soucia at 108 pounds, but Moore came away with a late 5:05 pin in the third period. Aiden Shreve followed with a quick :33 pin as Noah Ackermann and Trenton Anderson both came away with 4:28 pins.

Cameron Mason earned a 1:49 pin over Landen Lawrence in the 145 weight class while Nick Miller won by a 10-2 major decision. Aiden Kiehn picked up the final victory on the night with a quick :53 pin against Robert Raynore.

S-E will be at the Section III Duals at Jefferson Community College in Watertown on Monday, January 20, starting at 9 a.m.
