Norwich boys top Waverly

WAVERLY – After a hard loss to Seton, the Norwich Purple Tornado boys basketball team traveled to Waverly on Tuesday, where they came away with a steady 70-49 victory.
Norwich was led by Steven Dowdall with 25 points as Mitchell Collins followed with 22 points and Kassen Stubb added 15 points. Dowdall averages 24.8 points per game through 14 games played.
Norwich (11-3) returns home for two games, where they host Owego on Friday night and Windsor on Tuesday. Both games are expected to start at 7:15 p.m.
