BG boys drop to Unatego/Franklin

FRANKLIN – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats boys basketball team traveled to play Unatego/Franklin on Wednesday for a MAC league game. BG fell 45-32 to the Spartans, who sit in third in the league and played a tough defense, which did not allow the Bobcats to come up with a big run.
The Bobcats were limited in both the first and third quarters but they did hold the Spartans to six points after halftime. Both teams got back on track in the final eight minutes with Unatego/Franklin holding and securing the victory.
Colin Dailey led the Bobcats with 11 points with three threes. Tim Kinter followed with 10 points as Isaiah Hampton added six points. Michael Lipani and Dominick Johnson were held to just two points as Levi Fletcher contributed with one free-throw.
B-G (8-7) looks to regroup and snap a two-game skid this evening at Harpursville.
Scores by quarter:
BG 8 10 3 11—32
UF 12 12 6 15—45
