SHERBURNE – After a thrilling win against Utica Academy of Science on Friday, the Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves girls basketball team returned home to take on Adirondack. The Wildcats defeated S-E in a close game in December but this time, S-E excelled on the court and came away with the 56-44 victory.

Both teams came out strong in the first half and from there, S-E remained consistent and never lost momentum. The Wildcats cut S-E’s lead multiple times in the second half, but S-E ramped up efforts on both ends of the court to force a turnover and make a big play offensively, either a three-pointer or movement inside from Peyton Darragh or Alyse Brown.
