UV/GMU/Norwich bowlers take on BG
NEW BERLIN – The Unadilla Valley/GMU/Norwich bowling teams hosted Bainbridge-Guilford on Tuesday, where the boys split the match and the Storm girls earned the sweep.
The Storm boys had the overall score advantage, 3008-2867 while B-G won the first two games and UV picked up the final game.
Jacob Prentice led the Storm with an outstanding 702 series with a 266 in his final game and a 257 in his first game. Kameran Franklin added a 665 with a 255 in his second game as Tyler Bates rolled a 565 series.
David Montgomery, Dawson Robinson, Brayden Prentice, and Teagin Eccleston split time on the lanes. Montgomery had a 218 and a 148 to finish with a 366 series as Robinson finished with a 349 series. Prentice and Eccleston bowled just one game each with Prentice bowling a 186 and Eccleston with a 175.
Ethan Beardslee and Ryan Larsen helped BG win the first two games. Beardslee led the Bobcats with a 691 series, which was a career high as well as achieving a career high game of a 266. He also rolled a 237 in the first game. Larsen followed with a 619 series with a 221 in his first game and a 236 in the second game.
