NEW BERLIN – The Unadilla Valley Storm boys basketball team hosted Sidney for their final home game of the 2024-25 season. It was also senior night for both the boys and the indoor track team. UV honored indoor track senior Jacob Prentice as well as Isaiah Salimbangon, Haywood Edwards, Peyton Stevens, and Zac Harris. UV fell to Sidney 77-38.
The Storm was able to drive inside but could not finish and Sidney was able to rebound under the basket and drive quickly down their end of the court. UV made some adjustments and made full substitutions to reset. However, Sidney continued to keep a steady pace.
UV made 12-of-18 free throws to keep them going offensively.
Haywood Edwards led the Storm with 15 points, going four-for-four in free throws. Edwards also scored seven of the team’s 10 points in the third quarter, along with a three from Peyton Stevens.
