Area students exhibiting artwork in 2025 CASA Show

NORWICH — Students from Chenango County high schools will be exhibiting their artwork in the Chenango Area Student Art (CASA) Show at the Chenango Arts Council, located at 27 West Main Street in Norwich.

An opening reception will be held on Saturday, March 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Chenango Arts Council’s Mariea Brown and Raymond Loft Galleries.

The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments donated by The Cottage Bakery will be served.

Art teachers in every high school across the county are invited to submit student artwork to be included in the show, giving students a chance at exhibiting their work to the public.

"Every high school in Chenango County is invited for the teachers to submit artwork," explained Chenango Arts Council Administrative Assistant Mary Beth Miller. "There are five categories: drawing, painting, 3D art, mixed media, and photography. We have some artist judges and they award first, second, and third places."
