Norwich boys’ tennis defeats Seton Catholic in season opener

BINGHAMTON – On Friday, the Norwich Purple Tornado boys’ tennis team opened the 2025 season on the road against Seton Catholic. Norwich defeated the Saints 5-2.

The Purple Tornado swept the doubles with Phin Rivenburg and Tim Guzewich defeating Cooper Guy and Sean Lee 6-1 and 7-5. Jacob Lobdell/Jett Terry won against Victor Bohrer/Dominck Williamson with sets of 6-2 and 6-1. Norwich’s Joey Hall defeated Seton’s Alex Koterba in singles with sets of 6-4 and 6-3.
