CONKLIN – The Greene Trojans baseball team started its 2025 season on the road against Sus Valley on Monday afternoon. Greene fell to the Sabers 5-2 in what was a close game until the final few innings.

The Sabers scored three runs in the first inning and Greene answered back in the third with two runs, to cut the deficit to one. Parker Flanagan hit a two-run single to drive in the runs and put the Trojans on the board.

However, Sus Valley added two more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and held Greene.
