Harpursville/Afton baseball drops to Sus Valley

CONKLIN – After falling short in a duel against Oxford, the Harpursville/Afton Crimson Hornets baseball team traveled to Sus Valley for a night game on Thursday, falling in a 6-1 deficit.

The Sabers got on the board first with two runs before Harpursville/Afton answered back in the top of the fourth inning.Tim Barnett drove in Matt Carman, who singled with one out and stole a base, with a single to center, which cut the deficit to one.

However, Sus Valley secured the victory with four unanswered runs.
