Greene baseball falls short to Unatego/Franklin

OTEGO – On Friday, the Greene Trojans baseball team traveled to take on the Unatego/Franklin Spartan Devils. Greene fell short 6-4 in just their second game of the season.

Greene had a good start with taking a 2-0 lead in the first. Jackson Roth doubled to left on the first pitch he saw before scoring on Parker Flanagan’s infield single. Lincoln Youngs, who drew a walk, advanced to third on Flanagan’s hit and came in to score on a passed ball while Flanagan advanced to second and stole third.

The score would remain 2-0 Greene on top until the Spartan Devils flipped the game completely with a six-run third inning.
