NORWICH – After Bainbridge-Guilford’s SFCU Tournament was postponed over the weekend, the Norwich Purple Tornado softball team regrouped to host Sus Valley in a STAC league matchup. Norwich fell 14-0.

Norwich was no hit through six innings but did have Ava Cirigilano reach base on a walk and Caitlin Wetterhahn was hit by a pitch.

Bri Cirigliano got the start for Norwich, lasting five innings, allowing two earned runs (10 runs) on seven hits, five walks, and struck out four batters. Wetterhahn pitched the final inning, allowing two earned runs (four runs) on four hits, and two walks.

Norwich (0-6) heads to Windsor on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
