Both teams got an early start with B-G take a 3-0 lead to start the game. A hit by pitch and two walks loaded the bases quickly before a run scored on a Sac-fly by Timmy Kinter. Sly base running allowed B-G to steal, where a run score on an error. A walk and a hit by pitch reloads the bases and then a walk sends in another run before Greene’s Aiden Carter gets out of the inning with a strikeout and a groundout.

Greene had a hot start with three straight hits against Kinter with Jackson Roth’s lead-off blooper to the right side, Cooper Flanagan following with a hard hit ball in the same spot before Lincoln Youngs doubled to center to bring in Roth. Kinter struck out three batters in a row to get out of the inning.
