Norwich baseball drops series vs Windsor

NORWICH – The Norwich Purple Tornado baseball team hosted Windsor in the three-game series finale on a wet Friday evening. Norwich fell 13-3.

Down 10-0 in the fourth inning, Norwich answered back with three runs. Kaden Downey singled to lead-off the inning, stole second before Jaxson Francis walked. Graham Burton reached on an error, which Downey scored on. Collin Reid drove in a run on a one-out infield single and prior to the play, pinch-runner Michael Brunick scored in place of Francis.

Downey led Norwich with two hits at the plate while Francis, Reid, and Zack Parker contributed with one hit each in the loss.
