Norwich girls soccer falls short to Chenango Valley in home opener

NORWICH – The Norwich Purple Tornado girls’ soccer team played its 2025 home opener under the lights on their own turf field, hosting Chenango Valley on Wednesday night.
Norwich fell short 2-1 to the Warriors with Josey Ryan scoring the team’s first goal of the season.
Norwich (0-2) heads to Chenango Forks on Saturday for an 11 a.m. game.
