BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats golf team hosted UV/GMU on Wednesday afternoon at Sundown. The Bobcats picked up their second win of the season with a 239-294 victory. B-G Coach Darryl Decker noted that his team tied the season-best score through six matches played.

Gavin Dicks led the Bobcats with a 44 as Mason Buchanan shot a 46. Braison Ives followed with a 48 while Kate Baciuska finished with a 50 and Cole Fleming with a 51. Mason Acquisto finished as the sixth golfer with a 56*.

UV/GMU’s Carter Simonds led the team with a 50 as Evan Hill shot a 53. MacKenzie Marron shot a 60 with Gavin Underwood finishing with a 63. Alivia Vitek and Blake Lawrence both shot 68s.

B-G (2-4) hosts Oxford on Friday at 3:30 p.m. while UV/GMU (0-6) hosts Greene today at 4 p.m.
