Greene boys soccer roll on with a win over Cincy

CINCINNATUS – After a big win against Sidney, The Greene Trojans boys’ soccer team was right back at it on Thursday on the road against Section III's Cincinnatus. 

Greene returned home with a 2-1 victory with the game-winning goal being on a penalty kick.

Jack Rice scored the first goal of the game in the opening minutes for the Trojans with the assist from Jacob Acevedo.

Cincy tied it up at 1 with under 10 minutes left in regulation. 

Greene had a great opportunity on a Cincinnatus’ penalty as Judd Dutcher took the kick and was successful for the game-winner. 

Greene improves to 4-0 and heads Dryden on Saturday morning at 11 a.m.
