BINGHAMTON – The Norwich Purple Tornado girls’ tennis team traveled to Chenango Valley to take on the Warriors. Norwich fell 6-1 on Friday afternoon with the lone win coming from the third doubles.

In the top three singles, Chenango Valley took the clean 6-0, 6-0 sweep. Norwich’s Mara Lanfair in the fourth singles fought hard with four points in the second set, but fell 6-0, 6-4.

Norwich’s Samantha Palmer and Giuliana Oreilly fell 6-1, 6-2 to Samantha Davies and Josie Chaffee while Autumn Greco and Alice Boland dropped both sets to Sophia Miles and Bridget Armstong 6-0 and 6-2.
