Oxford girls earn shutout win over Delhi

OXFORD – After a draw against UV in the previous game, the Oxford Blackhawks girls’ soccer team made it count in Monday’s MAC contest against Delhi at home. Oxford earned the 3-0 shutout victory to improve to 3-0-1 on the season.

The Blackhawks saw two goals from their all-time leading scorer, #17 Kayla Knapp, who now has 38 career goals as only a junior. One goal was assisted by Paige Rickard on a corner kick while the other assisted by Colette Kappauf. Jayne Fleury also had an unassisted goal.
