POLAND, NY— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves girls’ basketball team traveled to Poland in a non-league match-up. S-E fell 49-39 in just their second game of the season.

Both teams went back-and-forth in the first half with Poland leading in the first quarter and S-E going to the break with a one-point lead, 20-19.

Poland picked up the pace in the second half, where S-E was held to six third quarter points. The Lady Timberwolves got back on track in the final eight minutes of play, but came up short.
