OV girls drop to Madison

MADISON— In their third straight game playing at Madison High School, the Otselic Valley Vikings girls' basketball team played the hosting Blue Devils in the Madison tournament consolation game. OV had lost to McGraw in the previous game and Madison fell to Brookfield to face each other the second time in three games.

OV fell 36-26 on Tuesday night to the Blue Devils. The Vikings started off strong, outscoring Madison 11-5 in the opening quarter, but were limited for the rest of the contest.

Mackenzie Reandeau led the Vikings with a double-double, including 10 points and an impressive 25 rebounds.

Lilly Palmer finished with six points and nine rebounds as Miranda Hackett had five points, eight rebounds, and a team-high five steals.

Bella Sayles and Abiana White both had two points while Emma Rooker scored one free-throw in the loss.

OV (0-3) heads home for the first time this season to host Stockbridge Valley on Dec. 16 at 6 p.m.
