Greene boys’ swim hosts Windsor
GREENE — On Wednesday night, the Greene Trojans boys’ swim team hosted the Windsor Black Knights, where the young five-man Trojans team continues to make progress, even in defeat. The final score was 74-35 Windsor.
Sophomore Sherman Ludolph took second in the 200 free with a time of 2:39.43, behind leader’s 2:05.86.
Greene’s Graham Harper, Andrew Roberts, and Scot Miles all swam in the 50 free with Harper in fourth, Roberts in fifth, and Miles in sixth. Miles achieved a new best time of 39.27 seconds.
Harper, Roberts, and Ethan Gardner all competed in the 100 free. Harper took third with a new personal best time of 1:13.11. Gardner came in fourth with a new personal best time of 1:21.92 with Roberts in fifth (1:27.28).
Miles, Gardner, Ludolph, and Harper earned the top finish in the 200 free relay with a time of 2:09.95. Gardner took first individually in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:37.55 as Ludolph swam to a first place finish in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:30.57.
Greene hosts Chenango Forks on January 6 at 5:30 p.m.
