ELMIRA-- The Bainbridge-Guilford/Afton/Harpursville-Chenango Valley and the Sherburne-Earlville girls' wrestling teams traveled to Elmira on Friday to compete in the 2025-26 Southern Tier Memorial Tournament.

BGAH-CV finished 18th with 69 points with S-E in 42nd of 47 teams with 13 points.

Alana Blanchard: seventh place at 107 pounds, 4-2 with two tech falls and two wins by pin.

Madison Farberman: second place at 94 pounds, 3-1- lost by tech fall in the finals, had three pins, including a :27 second pin and a :39 pin.

Maria Genovesi: 0-2

Sydnie Mccloe: 1-2 at 152 pounds, picked up a 1:49 win by pin against Oneonta's Willow Robinson.

Taylor Snell: 1-2 at 94 pounds, pinned Elmira's Alexis Collins in :21 seconds.

Avamarie Trisvan: sixth place at 165 pounds, 4-3 with two wins by tech fall, :13 pin, and a 1:06 pin.

Amber Tyler: 1-2 at 114 pounds, won by forfeit.

Leila Whitman:1-2 at 185 pounds, pinned Fulton's Hayleigh Lenz in 3:44.

Avangelene Hoffman: eighth place at 185 pounds, 2-3 with a :36 pin and a 1:27 pin.
