ELMIRA—The Bainbridge-Guilford/Afton/Harpursville wrestling team traveled to the LECOM Event Center in Elmira on Friday for the Southern Tier Memorial Tournament. The Bears took 29th out of 38 teams with a total of 37 points.

Silas Greenman took fifth in the tournament at 157 pounds and saw the most matches on the day. He went 5-2 with two pins, two wins by medical forfeit, and a 8-4 decision.

Colton Ryan went 3-2 at 118 pounds, but did not place. He had two quick pins of :21 seconds and :45 seconds and a 5-0 decision win.

Boston Besse went 1-3 at 138 pounds with his lone win in a :22 pin against Sayre, PA's Mason Allwood.

Frank Parsons also went 1-3 in the 126 weight class with his only win coming against Milton Area, PA's Connor Moll with a 4:49 pin.

Colton Hall went 0-2 in the 103 weight class as Glen Miller III fell in both matches he wrestled at 138 pounds.

BGAH heads to Norwich on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
