Norwich boys honor Graves with program dedication in close win against Windsor

NORWICH — Prior to Friday night's tipoff against Windsor, the Norwich Purple Tornado basketball boosters dedicated the 2025-26 basketball program to Harry Graves. Graves, a long-time supporter of Norwich Athletics and the voice of Norwich basketball and football on Mixlr.com, took center court and posed for a photo to be honored for his commitment and love for this beloved community.

Following the dedication, Graves called the game, which Norwich came out on top of a high-scoring affair, 75-70 against the Black Knights.

The top four leading scorers for the Purple Tornado scored double-digits with Aiden Young and Carmine Pastore both leading the team with 18 points.

Cooper Chrystie finished with 17 points as Kassen Stubb had 12 points in the win.

Norwich (10-1) heads to Oneonta on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m.
