B-G softball earns big shutout win vs Delhi

BAINBRIDGE—The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats softball team returned home from the SFCU tournament to host MAC league opponent Delhi on Tuesday afternoon.

B-G earned a big 12-0 shutout victory on 15 hits.

Alessandra Cafasso had a big day at the plate as well as on the mound.

Cafasso pitched the complete game shutout, allowing just three hits, two walks, and struck out seven batters.

Cafasso also went three-for-three at the plate with two doubles and four RBIs.

Jayslin Henderson also had two doubles and drove in four runs.

Breanna Casey went three-for-four with an RBI as Brenna George had two hits, three stolen bases, and scored four runs.

Tori Suda and Morgan Prisco (triple) both had a hit and RBI while Kaylin Furgason, Abbagayle Fitzgerald, and Emma Kinter each had a hit as well in the win.

B-G (4-3) hosts Greene on Thursday at 4:30 p.m.
