B-G baseball shuts out Sidney on the road
SIDNEY— The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats baseball team won its fourth straight game as the Bobcats defeated Sidney in shutout fashion, 10-0. B-G is now 8-2 on the season, but 4-2 in the MAC, which puts them fourth in the current standings.
B-G scored 10 runs on seven hits with Mason Acquisto having a great day at the plate and on the mound.
Acquisto led the team with two hits and a team-high of five runs driven in. Davis Barnard also had two hits and two RBIs as Anthony Cafasso had one hit and an RBI.
Acquisto went the five-inning complete game, allowing just two hits, no walks, and struck out six batters in the win.
B-G (8-2) hosts UV on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
