NORWICH— The Norwich Purple Tornado baseball team hosted Seton Catholic in their final home game of the 2026 season. Norwich looked stellar in both the field and at the plate to come away with a 3-0 shutout victory. Norwich’s Zack Parker also pitched a one-hitter through seven innings.
After two scoreless innings, Norwich got on the board with a run in the bottom of the third. Connor White walked to lead off the inning and scored on Kolbey Redenback’s two-out RBI single to make it 1-0.
Norwich added on in the bottom of the sixth as two runners were on base for Noah Eddy, who drove in those runs with a one out double to left field.
Eddy and Joey Parker led the team with two hits as Redenback, Carmine Pastore, and Zack Parker each had one hit in the win.
Zack Parker worked a complete game, allowing just one hit, no walks, and struck out 10 batters.
Norwich (6-10) heads to Waverly this evening at 5 p.m.
