B-G, H/A, and O-G track and field competes at U-E

ENDICOTT— Over the weekend, the Bainbridge-Guilford, Harpursville/Afton, and Oxford-Greene track and field teams competed in the Parkhurst Invitational at Union-Endicott High School.

The Bainbridge-Guilford girls took fifth with 36 points as Harpursville/Afton finished 13th with 20 points and Oxford-Greene tied for 21st with eight points.

The Bobcats boys finished ninth with 28 points while Harpursville/Afton tied for 18th with five points.

B-G:

Girls’ Track:

Laila Williams took second in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.63 seconds, behind Candor’s leading 16.20 seconds. Jayslin Henderson finished seventh with a time of 19.29 seconds.

Williams also competed in the 400 meter hurdles, where she finished 11th with a time of 1:22.74.

Keelan Ammon came in fourth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.54 seconds.

Madalynn Beardslee achieved a sixth place finish in the girls’ 1500 meter run with a time of 6:05.56 as Macey LaFever followed in seventh with a time of 6:06.89.

Maddie Ingham came in fourth place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:29.25 with Lalaenia Baldwin finished 15th with a time of 2:48.82.

Isabel Suda and Shweta Fazio both competed in the 400 meter dash, where Suda came in 17th place with a time of 1:12.01 with Fazio in 26th place with a time of 1:16.12.

Fazio finished 20th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 32.58 seconds.

Girls’ Field:

Marissa Mayo won the girls’ discus throw with a top throw of 103 feet, 11 inches with Tori Suda in sixth place with a throw of 80 feet, eight inches.
