NHS baseball falls to Waverly on the road
WAVERLY—The Norwich Purple Tornado baseball team took on Waverly on the road, where they fell 7-0 to the Wolverines.
Zack Parker led the team with two hits, including a double, but failed to score.
Joey Parker had a hit and reached base on walks as Connor White and Collin Reid singled in the loss.
Zac Turner also reached base on two hit by pitches.
Carmine Pastore went five and a third innings, allowing six runs (two earned) on five hits, six walks, and struck out three batters.
Pierce Sherman worked two-thirds innings in relief, giving up one unearned run on one hit, and a walk.
Norwich (6-11) takes on Owego this evening at 5 p.m.
