S-E softball shuts out Town of Webb in final home game; Lein throws a no-hitter

SHERBURNE— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves softball team took on non-league opponent Town of Webb on Tuesday afternoon for S-E’s final home game of the 2026 season.
S-E defeated the team that also sported Timberwolves on their jerseys 21-0 in five innings.
The S-E Lady Timberwolves finished the 2026 regular season with a 4-9 record and await a sectionals game.
S-E scored most of its runs after batting around the lineup in the third inning, scoring nine runs after totaling nine runs (4 + 5) in the first two innings.
Tatum Babcock went 2-for-3 with two RBI singles and a stolen base.
Reagan Krueger had a single in the second inning and had a sac-fly in the third inning.
Kamrynn Hill had an RBI double in the first.
Charlotte Young hit a two-run double in the second inning.
Kendall Hill had a two-run single in the first.
Grace Tackabury had an RBI single and a Sac-fly and went 3-for-3 to lead the team.
Allessandra Ingerto had an RBI single in the third inning.
Julia Lein hit a two-run single in the second.
Addison Tyrrell had two hits in the win.
Julia Lein worked five innings, allowing no hits, two walks, a hit by pitch, and struck out seven batters.
