17th Annual Tim Evans Memorial Golf Tournament honors legacy, Supports Shop with the Sheriff

OXFORD — On June 20, the 17th annual Tim Evans Memorial Golf tournament was held at Bluestone Golf Course in Oxford. The family honored Tim and also celebrated the proceeds of the tournament going towards the Chenango County Shop with the Sheriff event.

Tim's son Ryan Evans spoke on behalf of the event and continuing to honor his father in a big way.

“We are happy to continue giving back to the community and positively impacting the lives of others in honor of my father’s

memory. I'm excited to see the Chenango County Sheriff's have a successful night this holiday season with deserving kids throughout our county and can't wait to host the 18th Annual Tim Evans Memorial Tournament at Blue Stone next June,” Evans said. “A big thank you is owed to all players and businesses who continue to support the event and make it possible.”
