Oxford Farmers’ Market abuzz with activity this Saturday, July 25

OXFORD — Saturday is going to be a big day in Oxford. Class reunions will be bringing Oxford alumni together, there will be celebrations of America’s 250th anniversary throughout the village and fireworks in the evening, Hall of Distinction inductees will be honored, and the Oxford Farmers’ Market will be set up on Lafayette Park.

The Oxford Farmers’ market will feature three dozen vendors from 9 a.m. to noon and the fabulous Jo Jo Russell will perform in the bandstand from 10 a.m. to noon.

The vendors at the market this week will be offering gorgeous seasonal produce and mushrooms; chicken, duck and turkey eggs, dairy products and regional cheeses; artisan breads and other baked goods; delicious prepared foods, ready to eat; hard ciders, maple syrup and honey; salsas and jams; coffee; hand-made soaps, lotions and balms; beautiful potted plants, hand-crafted pottery, jewelry and sewn item for the kitchen and home. All products grown and produced locally by the hands of those selling them.
