SIDNEY - Artist Keiko Howard, based in the Delaware County Catskills, has completed a mural on a mixed-use commercial building in downtown Sidney.

Commissioned by local property owners Jeff and Brenda Bagley, the abstract mural brings vibrant color, movement and energy to Main Street.

Designed with expressive forms and bold colors, the mural invites viewers to experience it in their own way while adding a contemporary visual presence to the streetscape.

Originally from Japan, Howard is an oil painter and mural artist whose work explores the relationship between humanity and the natural world through light, texture and layered surfaces. Inspired by nature, everyday life and her Japanese heritage, she creates paintings and public artwork intended to encourage reflection and connection.
