NORWICH— The Norwich boys’ golf team defeated Chenango Valley 213-225 in just the second match of the season. Norwich’s top two medalists Brevin Bennett and Matthew Brunick continue to excel on the course. Both led the team and all golfers with 34s.

Charlie Smith shot a 44 as Jacob Lobdell had a 50 and Payne Skillin with a 51. Kinnon Bennett earned some playing time and finished as the team’s sixth golfer.

Norwich (2-0) hosts Waverly on Wednesday at 11 a.m.
