NEW BERLIN— The Unadilla Valley Storm volleyball team hosted Waverly on Wednesday night for the 2026 season opener. UV fell in all three matches but played competitively. The scores were 25-16, 25-19, and 25-13.

Shyla Roberts earned eight service points and led the team with four kills and had one block. Molly Pizzuto led the team with 11 service points, two aces, and one kill. Jade Cook led the team with seven assists and had four service points and two blocks.

Emily Vatovee and MaKenzie Knuth both earned five service points each with Knuth leading the team with three digs and Vatovee also having an ace and a kill. Logan Cook contributed with two kills.

UV (0-1) heads to Unatego on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
