Greene boys soccer falls to Elmira in 2026 season opener
ELMIRA — The Greene Trojans boys’ soccer team began the 2026 season on the road taking on Elmira, a AAA, two-time sectional champion. Greene was held to three shots on goal with eight saves by goalie Jackson Roth in the 1-0 loss. Coach Rick Tallman credited his squad's defensive discipline for keeping it close against a tough opponent.
Greene (0-1) heads to Sidney on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
