ENDWELL— The Oxford Blackhawks girls’ soccer team kicked off the 2026 season at non-league opponent Maine-Endwell on Thursday. The Blackhawks fell 9-0, where in the loss, senior goalie Jenna Denz made 12 saves.

“Despite a tough battle against a very talented Maine-Endwell team tonight, the girls never backed down,” Head Coach Rachel Seiler said. “The coaching staff is incredibly proud of the determination and nonstop effort displayed on the field. The team will carry their tenacious mindset into our next home game against Marathon on Monday, September 14.”
