NEWARK VALLEY — Coming off a big shutout victory over Marathon, the Greene Trojans field hockey team was back in action on Tuesday on the road against Newark Valley. Greene defeated the Cardinals 3-0 in the second game of the 2026 season.

Greene’s Halle Livingston, Ahraya Whitt, and Maggie Braman each scored goals brought on by assists from Liliana Davailus and Deirdre Colgan.

Braelyn Blakeslee made two saves in the win.

Greene (2-0) heads to Sidney on Thursday at 5 p.m.
