BPW hosts customer service luncheon next week

NORWICH – Recognizing the importance of building positive business relationships, the Business and Professional Women of Norwich will be sponsoring a luncheon presentation called Customer Service - Humanize it! on Wednesday, April 22 at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Norwich.
The two-hour program, which begins at noon, will feature a presentation by guest speaker Christopher Wright who will focus on helping people learn to “humanize” their interactions with customers and co-workers.
A Norwich-native, Wright is a graduate of both SUNY Morrisville and Brigham Young University. He is currently the divisional vice president of selling services, wedding and gift registry for Macy’s Department Store. In that position, he oversees customer service initiatives for 217 stores.
“Everyone can get something from this presentation,” said Debra Carlin, secretary of the BPW of New York.
Both BPW members and other members of the business community are invited to attend. Pre-registration for the event is required by Monday, April 20. For more information, or to register, contact Doris Brooks at 334-2979.
