Loomis joins Norwich School Board; Owen resumes seat

NORWICH – After standing vacant for nearly two months, the seventh seat on the Norwich City School Board of Education has been filled. Bill Loomis, a former member of the board with children enrolled in the district, was appointed to fill the vacancy at last night’s re-organizational meeting.

Loomis, who served on the board in the 1990s, was immediately sworn in following the appointment.
