DWI accident takes out Tops fence
The Norwich City Police Department, assisted by New York State Police, responded to this one-car accident at approximately 10:45 p.m. Saturday in the Tops parking lot. Rife B. Revoir, 19, Norwich, was charged with driving while intoxicated and operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 of 1 percent or higher following the accident, which destroyed approximately 12 feet of the fence located on the south side of the parking lot.
