NORWICH – On Friday, July 3 area residents looking to cash that fourth of July paycheck are invited to join the staff at both Norwich branches of Community Bank as they kick off the long holiday weekend by celebrating Customer Appreciation Day.
The downtown branch of the bank located at 18 S. Broad St. will host its celebration form 11 a.m. to 4 p.m..
Branch Manager Terri Slater says that the concept is two-fold: to thank existing customers for their patronage and also forge new relationships by welcoming those unfamiliar with the business into their branches.
“It's not just about generating new customers,” said Slater. “This is an opportunity for Community Bank to promote downtown business in general. Businesses that line Main Street and Broad Street are our neighbors, and we're encouraging community members to take the time to rediscover downtown, shop locally and do business here.”
Slater indicates that the event will offer complementary lunch, games, prizes; and even some banking specials that will be revealed the day of.
While the South Broad branch is prominently placed along the main drag, Community Bank also boasts a second conveniently located branch on the northeast corner of the East River Road and State highway 23 intersection.
Working in concert with South Broad to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction in greater Chenango, the satellite branch complete with drive-up banking will likewise be hosting its version of the event with the shared goal in mind from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday.
“Not everything has to be done electronically or from a mobile phone, we want to see folks in person,” said Slater, “Community Bank is very grateful for our dedicated customers who have made the bank a success over the years, and this is another way for us to thank them for that.”
