MARATHON — A Broome County woman was killed following a fatal alcohol related two-vehicle accident in Village of Marathon, Saturday.

New York State Police said that Christopher E. Tanner, 42, of Marathon, was driving northbound on US Route 11 when he crossed the center of the roadway and entered the southbound lane.

Tanner's vehicle struck a motorcycle operated by Shanon L. Nasoni, of Endicott.

LifeNet transported Nasoni to Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse where she was later pronounced dead at age 49.
