Event tonight brings together dreamers and successful entrepreneurs
OXFORD – An Oxford-based committee created to build bridges between business-minded individuals and successful entrepreneurs will host its fourth installment of a series of seminars on entrepreneurship tonight at the Oxford high school.
“Entrepreneur Night” is a night of networking, information, and idea sharing among some of the area’s most innovative minds. The event starts at 6 p.m. and, just as previous events hosted by the committee, it’s open to the public.
From 6-6:45 p.m., attendees may choose from two workshops. The first workshop, titled “Innovative Early Literacy Strategies,” is for families and student supporters in the community. Oxford educators Anita Sitarski and Jeanne Marshman will present “The Blackhawk Box” and explain the tools needed to build a firm foundation for early childhood literacy and readiness.
