Marauder baseball shines after devastating loss

SHERBURNE-EARLVILLE – The varsity Sherburne-Earlville baseball team hosted Adirondack on May 9, suffering through a tough 18-0 shutout loss.

Adirondack would explode on the scene with an opening inning of five funs in their favor.

Notably, SE had lost previously on the year to Adirondack with a score of 14-6.

SE couldn’t muster the hits to keep pace with Adirondack, only connecting with three balls to Adirondacks 16-hits.

Errors in SE's fielding also contributed to the shutout loss, with five going on The Marauders to Adirondack's lone error.

Adirondack would tack on two runs in each of the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings with seven runs to cap off the win over SE, in the seventh.
