Greene/Oxford Bowlers defeat Deposit

HANCOCK – On Thursday afternoon, the Greene/Oxford bowling teams traveled to the Fox Bowling Center to face Deposit. The Greene/Oxford boys defeated the Lumberjacks 3-1 as the girls earned the 4-0 sweep.
The Greene/Oxford boys were led by Aiden Roth, who rolled a team-high 518 with the highest game of a 222. Charlie Heir followed with a 511 series and bowled a 200 in his second game. Aidan Carter finished with a 505 series, where he had a 214 in his second game. Logan Yaddow rolled a 461 series as Logan Roth had a 436.
Lily Baxter led the Greene/Oxford girls with a 491 series, including a 182 in her second game. Danica Fowlston followed with a 445 with a 179 in her first game. Cassidy Johns rolled a 404 series with a 177 in her second game. Melana Gregware split time with Shynia Valmy and Brenda Allgaier.
Gregware finished with a 461, Valmy had a 256, and Allgaier with a 237.
Greene/Oxford hosts Bainbridge-Guilford this afternoon at 3:45 p.m.
