DEPOSIT— On Wednesday, the Unadilla Valley Storm track and field teams traveled to Deposit for a MAC meet, featuring host Deposit-Hancock, Delhi and Walton/Downsville.

Girls’ Track:

UV’s 4x800 took first over Delhi with a time of 11:02.75 as the girls’ 4x400 won over Walton/Downsville with a time of 4:38.54 as the 4x100 team won with a time of 54.99 seconds.

Sophia Bell took second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:24.16, behind Delhi’s leading 1:14.33.

Bell also finished second in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 19.85 seconds, behind Delhi’s leading 17.73.

Margaret Kemnah and Kathleen Pizzuto both ran the 1500, where Kemnah took third with a time of 5:56.83 as Pizzuto followed in fourth place with a time of 6:11.15.

Natalya Schrag won the 800 meter run with the fastest time of 2:44.45 with Molly Gorrell behind her with a time of 2:45.35.

Kemnah finished fourth with a time of 2:53.09 and Pizzuto came in ninth with a time of 3:11.04.

Madison Dix won the 400 meter dash with the top time of 1:10.44.

Mackenzie Lindholm came away with the victory in the 200 meter dash with a time of 28.04 seconds as Avery Golliver took third with a time of 31.46 seconds.

Molly Sickmond finished ninth with a time of 33.96 seconds.

Lindholm, Golliver, and Sickmond also competed in the 100 meter dash, where Lindholm took third with a time of 15.04 seconds with Golliver behind her with a time of 15.05 seconds and Sickmond in eighth with a time of 15.35 seconds.
