NHS baseball swept by Oneonta
NORWICH — The Norwich Purple Tornado baseball team completed its three-game series against Oneonta, where they were swept with a 7-1 loss on Friday.
Norwich scored its lone run in the bottom of the third on an error.
Joey Parker led the team with two hits and also reached base on a walk.
Connor White walked twice and stole a base as Michael Brunick had a hit and stolen base.
Collin Reid worked five innings on the mound, allowing seven runs (six earned) on 10 hits, four walks, and struck out five batters.
Pierce Sherman pitched two innings in relief, just allowing a walk.
Norwich (2-7) starts a three-game series with Windsor on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
