S-E baseball earns fourth straight win; defeats Hamilton on the road

HAMILTON— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves are on a roll. After starting the season 0-4, S-E picked themselves up and are now 4-4 on the season. The Timberwolves earned their fourth straight win in a 9-1 contest against Hamilton.
S-E went up 2-0 in the top of the first before adding six runs in the third inning. Both teams scored a run in the fifth.
S-E scored nine runs on seven hits with Jay Tackabury leading the way with three hits, including a double.
JJ Fischer had a hit and an RBI while Parker McCracken and Tomek Jusianiec also drove in runs.
Deagan Knochenmus, Ty Reihl, and Jack Bohnert each had a hit in the win.
Allie Whaley worked a complete game, allowing one earned run on seven hits, two walks, and struck out eight batters.
S-E (4-4) hosts Mount Markham on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
